⁶ They conspire,^(A) they lurk,
    they watch my steps,^(B)
    hoping to take my life.^(C)
7 Because of their wickedness do not^[a] let them escape;^(D)
    in your anger, God, bring the nations down.^(E)

⁸ Record my misery;
    list my tears on your scroll^[b](F)—
    are they not in your record?^(G)
